All You Need To Know
Deposits & Payment
A $100 deposit is required to secure your date, this is non refundable. Once the final design and quote is decided upon and invoice will be issued. Full payment of this invoice will be required 4 weeks prior to your event.
Cancellations & Changes
Any major changes made to your custom cake order less than 14 days before your required delivery or pick up date may incur a fee to cover the re working of the cake design or loss of work already completed.
If you cancel your order within 14 days of the delivery or collection date we cannot refund your deposit or issue any credit. Also, you will incur a $50 administration fee.
How do I book a custom cake & what information should I give you?
Please send all enquires via email or use the online booking form. The following information allows me to provide you with a rough quote as quickly as possible;
~Number of Guests
~Date of event
~Whether it will be served as larger dessert portions or small coffee/canape portions
Any photos or design ideas are helpful as each order is custom priced depending on the design.
Can I pick up my cake?
Yes you absolutely can! Pick up times must be arranged in advance as I do not have a shop front. Cakes are packaged with care to ensure minimal movement during transport, however, unless delivery is organised, we are not responsible for any damage to your cake after the cake has left the premises.
How do I transport my cake?
For pick up orders, we recommend that cakes be transported on a flat surface in your vehicle (the floor or boot space) with the air conditioning on. Cake should be stored in the fridge, especially prior to any transport and brought to room temperature (around 45 minutes - 1 hour) prior to serving.
How do I store & cut my cake?
Cakes will need to be stored in the refrigerator, it will be fine to sit at room temp for up to 3 hours. Please bring the cake out of the fridge at least one hour prior to cutting as the cake tastes much better at room temperature.
Cake cutting instructions are given out with each cake order.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
Yes I will do my best to meet any specific retry requirements, however please be aware that all cakes are made in the same kitchen where nuts, dairy and gluten products are present. Please check out my vegan menu.
Do you offer cake tastings and consultations?
Yes I do however only for wedding cakes. These must be booked in advance and dates are subject to availability. Please provide all required information when getting in contact about a consultation.
